  • Who can use RubiALERT in my agency?
    RubiALERT is designed for use by all police members, whether they're patrolling the streets, conducting investigations, analyzing crime patterns, or overseeing operations.
  • How long does it take to set up RubiALERT for my service?
    It's super easy to get started with RubiALERT - no setup required! Whether you want to give it a try with just one crime analyst or your whole unit, the process is the same. We'll provide you with login instructions to the RubiALERT web portal, where you can start storing, distributing, and analyzing both existing and future bulletins.
  • Why can't I just keep bulletins in emails or shared folders?
    While that's a common approach for most services, it makes analyzing the data really difficult, and crime analysts often spend hours searching for relevant information. In addition, best cybersecurity practices recommend that Protected B information should not be shared via email.
  • Where is my data stored?
    All of your data is stored in Canada, in infrastructure approved for Protected B workloads by the Government of Canada. Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest, and we've partnered with a leading cybersecurity company to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Who owns the bulletins on the system?
    You own all the data you put into the system and have complete control over who can access it. Rubicon serves as a custodian of your data, ensuring that it's kept safe during transport and storage.
  • How much does it cost?
    We're currently accepting services for early access, which comes with a free trial period. After that, you'll need to purchase a yearly seat license based on the number of users in your organization.
  • Does RubiALERT integrate with my RMS (e.g. Niche or Vercadex) or CAD tools?
    RubiALERT works as a standalone solution, but we can also integrate it with your specific version of RMS and CAD systems to provide more advanced functionality for your service. We'll work with you to make the integration process as smooth as possible.
